AAT Terms & Conditions

The purchase of any travel services offered by LGM Travel LLC (also referred to in these terms & conditions as “African American Travelers” or “AAT”), constitutes a contractual arrangement between you (also referred to in these terms & conditions as “traveler”) and AAT, and represents your acceptance of AAT’s Terms & Conditions as set out herein. Please ensure that you have carefully read and understand the Terms & Conditions prior to booking. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to accept AAT’s Terms & Conditions on behalf of everyone named in your booking, and you will be deemed to have accepted AAT’s Terms & Conditions on behalf of everyone named in your booking. You are advised to check AAT’s websites for the latest version of the Terms & Conditions prior to booking your trip.

 

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS : AAT accepts payment via most major credit cards. A deposit of $200 per person, per trip is required for AAT to reserve your space unless otherwise stated. All payment plans require monthly automated payments to debited from your credit/debit card. At anytime you can contact our office to make an additional payment or pay in full.

Please review and verify your booking invoice thoroughly and contact AAT immediately if your invoice appears to be incorrect or incomplete, as it may not be possible to make changes later. AAT cannot accept responsibility if it is not notified of invoice inaccuracies or missing add-ons. In the case of billing errors, AAT reserves the right to re-invoice you with correct pricing.

Once you miss two monthly payments your trip is subject to cancellation.  Once your trip is cancelled you will be notified via your email. You may reinstate your trip within 7 calendar days of cancellation by paying the full amount past due.

 

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY:   You have 15 days, or until the first monthly payment is due, whichever comes first, to cancel a trip for a full refund of your deposit. After that time period your deposit is no longer refundable, however 50% of your deposit can be applied to another AAT within a years’ time of cancelling. Deposits and payments are not transferrable from person to another.

Each of your monthly payments becomes non-refundable 15 days after it is collected.  

We highly recommend you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes trip cancellation coverage within 3 days after booking that includes a “Cancel for Any Reason” option to cover your non-refundable trip. Trip cancellation insurance is the only true means of receiving reimbursement for flights and other non-refundable expenses should you cancel your trip for any reason, whether voluntarily or as a result of AAT actions.

 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel Documents, including e-ticket itineraries, are sent via email approximately four weeks prior to departure provided full payment, completion of medical disclosure and emergency contact details have been received.

 

ITINERARY CHANGES:  While we make every effort to execute the itineraries provided on the website, itineraries are subject to modification and change due to availability or vendor partner changes.  In the unlikely event that there are major changes to the itinerary, clients are notified as soon as possible and an equivalent substitution will be offered.

 

HEALTH & WELLNESS POLICY: All trips well require you do at least a mile of walking per day, and some may involve strenuous activities. It is expected that each traveler consult their doctor to ensure they are healthy enough to travel.

 

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE:  Photos and videos are taken daily through out AAT trips. In attending an AAT you are giving AAT the right to use the videos and photos in promoting future trips.  

 

VISA REQUIREMENTS:  Travel visas are required for many countries visited on our packages. It is the responsibility of each traveler to comply with them and to secure the proper travel documents. To avoid disappointment and unnecessary expenses, please carefully review the requirements so that you can obtain all necessary documents well before your trip. Requirements are subject to change, often without notice, and we suggest you verify requirements with the relevant embassy or consulate. AAT will not be held responsible for any charges, trip interruptions, or cancellations due to incorrect or missing visas.

 

DAMAGES:  We accept no responsibility for accidents, damage, baggage losses, delays and/or accidental expenses due to weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of governments or authorities, wars, terrorism, criminal acts committed by third parties, hostilities, civil disturbances, riots, strikes, sickness, quarantine, defects of vehicles or breakdown in equipment, or to the fault or default of any company used for carrying out these packages. Regarding any and all services and accommodations furnished, we expressly disclaim all responsibility or liability over any matter whatsoever for loss, damage, injury or expense to property or person due to any cause whatsoever occurring during the duration of the trip or otherwise. All such losses or expenses will be borne by the passengers
